    EGYPTIAN HIBISCUS TEA

Hibiscus tea is a herbal tea made as an infusion from crimson or deep magenta-coloured calyces of the roselle flower. Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa) is a species of Hibiscus. Hibiscus is caffeine free rich in vitamin A & C and with substantial quantities of flavonoids & proanthocyanidins, act as a good anti-oxidant. Hibiscus tea has traditionally been used to reduce blood pressure and cholesterol.

This tea can be brewed multiple times, and you can increase the water temperature with later steepings. Can be enjoyed both HOT or CHILLED.

    BREWING GUIDE
    • Water temperature: 100º Celsius
    • Dosage: 1 tea spoon
    • Amount of water: 150-200 ml
    • Steeping time: 5, 6 minutes
    • Re-steepings: 2-3 times

Method: We suggest to always use freshly boiled water cooled down to the proper temperature. Use suitable tea ware and cover the teapot or a teacup when brewing. To discover delicate subtlety of each tea and get the most nutrients out of the leaves/flowers always follow the instructions, and feel free to experiment with dosage, time or temperature when you get accustomed to the tea. Higher temperature, larger amounts of leaves and longer steeping time will result in stronger infusion with more astringency. You can add sugar or honey to your tea, but we suggest trying it straight first in order to enjoy it to the fullest.

    PERFECT FOR

Summer refreshment or after-meal herbal indulgence.

This tea blend is made from sustainably grown flowers and 100% natural ingredients with no added colours or flavours

A beautiful blend of exoticness and tanginess

The name 'Egyptian Hibiscus's, itself gives a sense of an exotic tea blend. The dried leaves and the colour adds to the exoticness. I, personally, have tried it quite a few times and have never been dissapontment. The tangyness of the hibiscuss in varying proportions can be adjusted to your taste. Certainly a refreshing tea. Especially it's a welcome addition to entertain your guests or for gifting purposes. I am into my 3rd packet of Hibiscuss tea leaves, so totally satisfied with the product.
